Version 1.6 represents the first major milestone for Excelsior, as I’ve now got a working version of every feature I set out to put into this app when I started it. As such, we’ll be going through another week or so of testing before launching publicly - yay!

Thanks again to everyone who’s contributed to this app - there are some major features I really wouldn’t have put together if not for the help of many testers. I’ve tried to acknowledge all those awesome people below.

Features:

Play Game Feature

• Character viewer has been completely rebuilt. You can now view both healthy and injured sides of the cards separately, and you can track their wounds, power, and conditions.
• You can now add your opponent’s characters when creating a game, and you can even track their health, power, conditions, and injured status (Thanks to Darkundo for helping me with this feature!)
• Cards and Scoring have been split into separate pages, making it much easier to track the game and reference cards.
• You can now track the game round, and track both you and your opponent’s score.

Roster Creation

• Extract and Secure cards are now separated when confirming your roster
• The Threat/Character/Card counter is now floating, so you can still see your count when scrolling through some of the longer lists. (Thanks to Sigma for making this work!)

Collection

• Completely overhauled the collection! You can now view Crisis and Tactics cards, and see which characters are part of which affiliations.
• Crisis Cards, Tactics Cards, and Characters in the collection will show which token they use.
• Dark Dimension has a shiny new logo, based off the glyph Kaecillius uses in Doctor Strange. (Thanks to Matt Dobson for the suggestion!)

Quick Reference

• Added tabs to the token view, alongside tokens for Crisis Cards, Tactics Cards, and Characters. Clicking into any of these will show you their related cards.

Export

• You can finally export to TTS! Massive thanks to LawTalkingGuy for his help in getting this feature up and running.
• You can now export your list in text format - this is great for showing others your list in a simple format.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where Crisis Cards weren’t able to be selected when creating a new game. (Thanks to Florima for reporting this bug)
• Fixed some Crisis Cards showing the wrong tokens. Thanks again to SetoZan for his effort in helping me line up these tokens.

What’s Next:

• I’ll be spending the next week or so getting the website ready for public launch, so updates will be slightly quieter.
• I’m working on validating affiliation and leaders during team creation, as well as better functionality for Infinity Stones.
• I’d also like to allow you to mark Tactics Cards as used in the Play Game screen.
